Our products, with their unique, history-rich designs, are made in our French workshops; with the Jouy de Fruits, a city tote bag that combines practicality and aesthetics, as our signature piece.

Our Story

It all started in April 2020, during the first lockdown, when Hortense discovered her grandmother's sewing machine and taught herself to sew. She made her first tote bag from Toile de Jouy scraps. That's when the great adventure began, with the challenge of manufacturing all accessories in France and sourcing raw materials from neighbouring countries.

In September 2020, mass production was outsourced to a workshop located in the Alpes Maritimes. Then, in Champagne-Ardenne, she met Laurence, Bernadette, Edith and Camille, four seamstresses, who assist her in making small series.

Hortense, for her part, designs and crafts all the prototypes herself in Paris, drawing inspiration from French history, the House, and her family heritage.
